Design objectives made simple... there are five easy steps...

Communication and feedback are the keys to developing a successful marketing tool. It’s imperative that Hudson Valley Design understands what you need, and it’s equally as important for you to understand how the design process works. Of course, we understand that this may be new to you, so please don’t hesitate to ask questions - and conversely, we will be asking you lots of questions.

Projects are completed in several stages, with a review period following each phase. We keep the communication lines wide open, so if at any point you feel the project isn’t on track with its objectives, we can make adjustments with minimal effort.

Step 1: Consultation

So that we can get an idea of your project's needs, and so that you can find out how we operate, we’ll have a meeting (usually about an hour or so) to find out what will be involved. We’ll start by discussing how the process works and answer any questions you may have as we walk through determining your project's unique needs. Together, we complete the creative briefing that will help us determine how to move forward with the project.

Step 2: Project Proposal

After our initial meeting, we will have a better idea of what services you require and, in turn, what resources will be needed on our end. Hudson valley Design will provide you with a detailed estimate of cost. After you approve this estimate by payment of a 25 percent deposit of fees, we will give you a pre-production checklist. This identifies what information needs to be gathered before we can begin the creative process - some of which will depend on you and some of which will be generated by us. We also will provide you with a production schedule designed to keep the project on track. If you feel the schedule is too loose or tight, we’ll make adjustments.

Step 3: Develop Design Concepts

After we take care of the initial details, the real fun begins. Hudson Valley Design will develop design concepts in the form of mockups for your review. Based on your feedback, we’ll finalize your project's design presentation.

Step 4: Information Gathering

Even the best design is worthless without meaningful content. We will begin gathering information, all of which must be collected before we can move forward. Some of these pieces will come from you (basic text content) and others will be developed by us (suggestions on presentation). The content we generate will be combined for your review.

Step 5: Produce Project

After you have “signed off” on the design and approved the content, we can produce the project. When we’re finished, we’ll seek your final approval and move into the last stage - posting (electronic media) or going to press (print media).

That’s all there is to it. So if you're looking for professional web design and maintenance at an affordable price, or a direct mail for that special annual event, we are here to help.
